Sing Like A Pop Star -Live! Vocal Performance Workshop

Starts January 2019 for 4 weeks, 2-hr sessions

8-10 pm

Fee: $250 for 4 sessions – two hours

Where: Exposition Studios in Culver City*

Take your singing to the next level with America’s vocal coach, Teri Danz. Named one of the Top Vocal Coaches in Backstage Magazine, 6-25-15 Issue, Danz was also a Backstage 2014 Reader’s Choice Finalist. 

Work on songs of your choice, be coached by a pro, and accompanied by guitarist, Gaku Murata at a West Los Angeles rehearsal studio. Danz is club hit recording artist and author of Vocal Essentials for The Pop Singer: Take Your Singing from Good to Great. 

Learn to command the stage, improve your vocals, and move your audience. Great for stepping up performance, gigs and auditions.

Take your teen’s singing to the next level with America’s vocal coach, Teri Danz. Named one of the Top Vocal Coaches in Backstage Magazine, 6-25-15 Issue, Danz was also a Backstage 2014 Reader’s Choice Finalist. All rock & pop styles- originals or covers. Teens work on songs of their choice, are coached by a pro, and accompanied by pro guitarist and co-founder, Gaku Murata. They learn to command the stage and how to sing in front of an audience, improve their vocals (singing), and have fun doing it!  During the last session, we record the students singing their song(s) live.

Workshop Review: Mary Bee Music

Taking Teri Danz’s Vocal Performance Workshop really opened my eyes to a lot of things I did not realize I was doing during my performances – one being *closing my eyes*! I had no idea I was closing my eyes through so much of each song – and how un-engaging that is to an audience member. I also learned a lot about the importance of my posture and how much of a difference something as simple as what I am doing with my hands can make to a live show.

Teri is an amazingly objective coach who is not afraid to let you know what you need to do to improve, but is always kind about it and ready with a high five when she sees you starting to really ‘get it’. I am excited to finish recording my EP and perform the songs live now that I have gone through this workshop. I can’t wait to put these new skills to use! I have even made changes to some of my songs themselves based on her suggestions. I am so thankful I went through her program and suggest it to anyone who is serious about taking their performance to the next level! I mean it Teri – thank you!!
